Tawang - the land of Monpas - day 4

Good Morning

Overnight, it had snowed heavily at the mountain tops


Green Valley and white peaks all around. Girya's place sits in these serene surroundings
As if gods had dropped a wheat flour sack over the mountains

Prayers wheels in the frontyard

We enjoyed playing badminton here..

Photo sessions till others got ready for the day

We start our journey to the top

More lakes and we are told this place is heaven when the snow melts and there is some greenery around

It was very very cold.. light wollen clothing was not enough at all :)

We reach our destination for the day - Shonga tseir lake

Excellent, Fantastic, Fabulous, super food

Thus ended one of the best days of our life.. what an experience.

Till now we had only heard of Mighty Himalayan mountains. It is like experiencing a completely different world altogether.
