Felicitation to our Yoga Guru - Yatendra

Our Yoga Guru Yatendra has been taking classes in our apartment for one and half years now. Lot of us have been immensely benefited from these classes. Archana has been going to these classes since the beginning and has become pretty good at yoga. I have been attending it since last 1.5 months.

In spite of his hectic schedule Yatendra has been very regular to the Morning and Evening batches. Yatendra himself has learnt yoga from BKS iyengar institute. He has been practicing yoga for last eight years.

As token of our respect to his dedication to these classes we felicitated Yatendra.

Ishaan's new hair style

Ishaan got his haircut done from a new place near our apartment. He was happy about the haircut and wanted two lines on the side.

Operation Independence

August 15th the Independence day was on a Friday making way for a long weekend. Couple of weeks before that we all had met for a family get together at Clarks exotica resort. During the conversations seed was planted that we need to do an unplanned bachelor trip.

Slowly whatsapp group was formed and discussion started and high level plan was to go to Sirsi via bankapur mundgod. See in and around Sirsi like Banavasi/Yellapur/yana/etc and come back on Sunday morning. Slowly one by one started getting permissions/blessings from their better halfs and by Thursday night RK and BK were also ready.

Tindi beedi..sajjan rao circle

pooja and kids are here for a week for summer vacation we are having great time at home. went to sajjan rao circle for evening snack..nice place with lots of food.

 

We had fun at home too this vacation it was chakka. I lost initial matches and was back with few good wins. Vaibhavi is a very lucky and she is a master at throwing the dice. 

  

Before we realized the week was over and sadly they went back today. Hopefully kids will come back for another week of fun in next month. Summer vacations are the best time of the year. 

parliamentary elections

Voted for the parliamentary elections. Elections this time are at different level. Everyone has an opinion to offer. Lots of debates, charges, counter charges, rallies., etc.

Went at 7:00 am to vote and there was already a big queue only at our booth other 4 booths were empty. Same thing happened during assembly elections. Looks like all  apartment residents like to vote early. Note to self..vote in the afternoon next time.

I had forgotten to sign on the voters sheet..went back to sign..but election official had already signed on my behalf. kewl.

SSBJ get together

We decided to have a dinner on a friday evening.  Kote was in town, Manja had come from belgaum an d Bk had moved to Bangalore.

Dinner was at Jayamahal palace. Wr all had a wonderful time remembering schooldays and talking politics and elections.

Saanvis assessment

Saanvi has done well this year too. Online results just said A+ in all the subjects. Since Archana and kids were at Sangli, I went to collect the report. Teacher was extremely happy with Saanvi.Mentioned that she keeps herself busy and does mot waste time in between classes she draws.

I noted down some of her marks and teachers comments on a piece of paper.
